At Overflow Coffee, we’ve always believed that brunch and lunch should be more than just a meal; they should be an experience. Tucked inside the Click Collection Hotel near Medanta Hospital in Golf City, we’ve designed our cafe to be the kind of place where you can clear your afternoon and simply stay a little longer than planned. Drawing on more than ten years in specialty coffee, we’ve poured everything we know into building a dining experience here in Lucknow that we truly believe in.

Eggs with truffle oil and cream cheese, finished with parmesan snow, rosemary potatoes, and arugula — rich, layered, and brilliant alongside a cortado. The Turkish Labneh (₹475) is another standout: poached eggs over garlic yogurt with chilli crunch and microgreens, served with warm pita. Comforting, but with enough edge to keep things interesting.
If you’re coming in for a proper weekend brunch, the Breakfast Burrito (₹625) — available with chicken sausage or paneer — is a full meal in itself. Scrambled eggs, bell peppers, mushrooms, fries, guacamole, and pico de gallo, all wrapped together and served with potatoes on the side. And the Avocado Toast (₹675), with balsamic cherry tomato, whipped feta, and spiced apple chutney on sourdough, is exactly as good as it looks — and then some.
Lunch at Overflow — More Than You’d Expect
This is where Overflow starts to feel less like a coffee shop with food and more like a full-service dining destination. The lunch menu spans hearty bowls, pastas, burgers, flatbreads, and sandwiches — and the quality holds up consistently across all of it. The Shawarma Bowl (₹500) is the crowd-pleaser — chicken or paneer with garlic toum, hummus, pickled onions, red cabbage slaw, and mini pita breads. The Truffle Mac & Cheese (₹600) is the most indulgent thing on the menu: macaroni baked with cheese sauce, truffle oil, and a parmesan gremolata crust. It’s rich, it’s deeply satisfying, and it’s worth every rupee.
For something more substantial, the Mutton Smash Burger (₹700) — double smashed lamb patty, over easy egg, caramelised onion, and spicy mayo — is a serious lunch option that delivers on every level. On the veg side, Chipotle Bowl (₹550) with herbed rice, rajma, corn salsa, and charred pineapple both punch well above their price point.
The Coffee — Which Is, After All, the Whole Point
Here’s what makes Overflow genuinely special: the coffee program is excellent. Overflow sources its roasted beans through Bloom Coffee Roasters, and it shows in every cup. As a barista trainer, I notice when a cafe takes extraction seriously — the grind consistency, the milk texture, the attention to temperature. Overflow does all of it properly.
The espresso-based menu covers the classics with confidence — Flat White (₹275), Cortado (₹250), Cappuccino (₹275) but the Specials section is where things get interesting. The Pistachio Latte (₹500), made with pistachio praline and sweetened condensed milk, is the kind of drink that earns its own fan base. The Spanish Latte (₹350) — espresso, caramel sauce, and condensed milk — is equally compelling. For filter coffee lovers, the Pour Over (₹300) is brewed by hand at your table using rotating single-origin offerings. That alone is worth a visit.
Specialty tea from Anandini Himalaya Tea and gut-friendly Kombucha from Atmosphere Studio round out the beverage menu for non-coffee drinkers — a thoughtful touch that reflects how seriously Overflow considers every element of the experience.

One thing that stands out about Overflow is that it hasn’t tried to do everything in-house for the sake of it. Instead, the team has partnered with people who are genuinely best-in-class in their respective categories. Bloom Coffee Roasters for the beans. Anandini Himalaya Tea for the specialty teas. Atmosphere Studio for the kombucha. Fresh Choice Farms for the non-veg proteins. These aren’t decorative partnerships, they directly shape the quality of what ends up on your table and in your cup.

The Berry Cheesecake (₹450) — baked, creamy, on a buttery biscuit base with berry compote is is a must-try for those who love a classic balance of tart and sweet. The Lemon Tart (₹325), with its torched meringue and zesty curd in a vanilla sablé shell, is a close second. The Chocolate Hazelnut Pastry (₹450) with salted hazelnut crème and milk chocolate mousse is the one to order if you’re in the mood for something truly indulgent.

Overflow’s menu is genuinely inclusive without making it a point of pride; it just quietly covers all bases. Gluten-free options are marked (GF), vegan dishes are clearly identified (VE), and dairy-free alternatives are available. Alternative milks — oat or almond — can be added to any coffee drink for ₹25.
