It’s a Tuesday afternoon at Overflow. The espresso machine is hissing softly behind the counter. Somewhere in the bakery, a tray of focaccia is cooling. A laptop opens at a corner table; two friends slide into the booth by the window and start scanning the menu. Someone at the bar orders a flat white and an avocado toast, no rush, the afternoon’s still long.
This is lunch at Overflow, and we think it’s worth telling you exactly what to expect before you come.
The phrase “cafe-style lunch” gets used a lot, but it can mean very different things from one place to another. So here’s our version of it: what it means to us, what’s on the plate, and how to plan your visit.

What cafe-style lunch means to us
Three things matter to us when we put lunch on the table.
Ingredients you can actually taste. Our breads are baked in-house; sourdough, focaccia, pita, brioche buns. Our sauces, syrups, and dressings are made here too: the caramel, the chocolate, the chimichurri, the garlic toum, the za’atar curd. When you bite into an avocado toast, you should taste the avocado before you taste the bread; when you eat a quinoa bowl, the feta and honey-lime dressing should hold up against the grains. That kind of clarity only comes from caring about every layer.
Portions that respect your afternoon. A good cafe lunch shouldn’t put you to sleep. Our bowls, toasts, and sandwiches are sized so you can have a full, satisfying meal and still get back to your desk, your meeting, your errands. Or you can stretch lunch into two hours over a second coffee and that’s also a perfectly fine plan.
Coffee and food from the same kitchen philosophy. Adam, co-founder of Overflow and SCA certified barista trainer, trains every barista at Overflow personally. So, when your flat white lands on the table, it’s been made by someone who’s been taught to care about every detail. The kitchen team holds themselves to the same standard. The cappuccino and the smash burger come from the same house, and they’re held to the same bar.
The lunch menu, walked through
Here’s how we’d think about ordering, depending on what kind of afternoon you’re having.
If you’re eating light, or eating clean
Some days you want lunch to be the easy part of the day, nourishing, fresh, finished in forty minutes.

The Beet & Goat Cheese Salad (₹400) is a more delicate plate, pickled beets, seasonal greens, whipped goat cheese, frosted almonds, spicy lemon cranberry, and an orange balsamic vinaigrette.
If you want something heartier in the same spirit, the Superfood Bowl (₹550) is built on a quinoa base with your choice of roasted pumpkin or chicken, cherry tomatoes, avocado, candied pumpkin seeds, charred broccoli, and a chickpea chilli crunch on top, small, deliberate details that turn a bowl into a meal.

These are the plates that feel substantial without slowing you down for the rest of the day.
The Chipotle Bowl (₹550) is herbed rice with chipotle chicken or paneer, rajma, corn salsa, an avocado slice, za’atar curd, and charred pineapple, sweet, smoky, fresh all in one bite. A sweet finish, if you have room
